Bhringraj (Eclipta Alba) has a long history as a rasayana for in Ayurveda. This herb – called False Daisy in English – is an annual creeper that grows to roughly three meters in height. 

It has white or yellow flowers with lance-shaped leaves and needs a very moist climate to survive. Because of this, it mainly grows in the marshy areas of India. It is also common to find this herb as a weed in rice or paddy fields. The main uses for Bhringraj are medicinal or therapeutic purposes.

Hair Mask: Mixing bhringraj powder with yogurt or water will make a general hair mask/pack. Leave in the hair for 30 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. 

Herbs + Yogurt: For dandruff, mix one spoon each of fenugreek powder, amla powder, and bhringraj powder with some yogurt, mix and apply for 15 minutes. Apply this masl twice a week for better results. This can also help with hair loss.
